Industry Blog

During the course of my internship this semester at Giorgio Armani, I plan on following several industry blogs. These will include: The Sartorialist, Women's Wear Daily, and PR Couture. I feel that all three blogs will enhance my understanding of the industry, as well as keep me up to date on industry trends and events. Each blog presents different aspects of both the fields of fashion and public relations. The Sartorialist, for example, is a very visual and aesthetically driven blog. The blog comments on men's and women's clothing from all around the world, as well as on popular culture. Women's Wear Daily and PR Couture cover both the business and creative aspects of the industry. I am confident that my knowledge about fashion PR will increase significantly during the course of my internship, and will be supplemented as I read these blogs.
